Intel Core i7 Mobile adalah prosessor notebook yang baru diperkenalkan September 2009, memiliki 4 core dan 2 thread di setiap core-nya. Dengan setting default, pada Task Manager Windows akan terlihat bahwa prosessornya ada 8 unit, yang berasal dari 4 core x 2 thread. Perbedaan Core i7 Mobile dengan Core i7 untuk desktop adalah sistem Turbo Boost yang dimilikinya.

Bila pada Core i7 dekstop, semua core dapat dinaikkan clock-nya secara bersamaan, Core i7 mobile hanya menaikkan salah satu core ketika fitur Turbo Boost diaktifkan. Hal ini mungkin dilatarbelakangi adanya upaya untuk menghemat penggunaan daya listrik dari baterai laptop.
